Mission Statement

Hello everyone!

I know, I promised another blog much sooner than this, but I couldn't think of a good theme. For London I had...well, being in London, but a semester doing academic work in Grinnell doesn't really carry the same level of interest. Most updates would have consisted of statements such as, "Did some more homework today. Oh yeah! I also went to class." Rinse and repeat for four months? No thanks.

But I have a new theme: doing academic work in Grinnell! Oh, but now it's during the summer. This means two things. First, I will probably have time to do a blog again, since I'll only be working on one project instead of four. Second, I will have to be very creative in composing my entries, since I will not have the benefit of London to skip around and photograph. But Grinnell can be charming too, I promise. In any case, I'm sure I will have things to say.

So I expect to update a couple of times a week with photos and stories about what I'm doing. Some of it will be descriptions of my project, of which I'll have more info later. I hope to make it interesting for those who read and enjoyed my London blog.

I might not update again for a couple of weeks as I wrap up my semester and establish my living situation in Grinnell. But I will return afterwards with pictures of the city and the campus. Maybe even a good story or two.
